Ty grew up in a family of educators. As he grew older, he decided to become a financial advisor and retirement coach himself, working to help clients both understand their personal finances and plan ahead to generate the income and resources they will need to achieve their desired retirement lifestyle.
“I saw some of my family members face retirement income shortfalls,” Ty says. “It floored me and made me realize how unprepared many people are when it comes to financial retirement preparation. I wanted to fix the problem, which is how and why Gardner & Associates was started.”
Now, with 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ty continues to hold strong convictions and beliefs about retirement and enjoys sharing what he has learned with his community. Always straight-thinking and West Texas-friendly, Ty’s goal is to spend as much time as he can instructing and supporting people through the retirement planning process. He believes in helping people make educated decisions about how to plan, build wealth, and retire confidently.
